7 Must-Have Travel Essentials for Every Coffee Lover

1. French press

Travel to a place with good coffee? Then, carry a French press to save you from wasting money on coffee travel every day. With a French press, all you need to do is buy a bag of ground coffee, enough for you to use throughout your trip. If you don't finish it, you can even take the leftover bag home. It's also a great budget for your family or colleagues!

Usage: Add coffee powder to the cup before adding hot water. Let the coffee steep. After a few minutes, press the plunger. Please note that the longer the steeping time, the stronger the brewed coffee will be.

2. Reusable coffee filter set

If you like to pour coffee, then buy a reusable coffee filter. This coffee filter can make a lighter and smoother coffee. In addition, compared with the French press, the reusable coffee filter is more portable and easier to pack.

Usage: Add coffee powder to the steel cup, pour a little hot water to bloom the coffee. Wait for a few seconds, then press the filter. Pour more hot water. You will notice that the coffee starts dripping. Cover the filter and wait for it to finish dripping.

Extra tip: Drink it the Vietnamese way, with a spoonful of condensed milk! It also pairs well with iced coffee.

3. Coffee grinder

Okay, this might be a controversial point. Who can afford to bring a coffee grinder when we are packing so much? The answer is: stubborn coffee purists who are still attached to the freshness of coffee beans. If you are one of them, then a manual coffee grinder is your choice.

4. Thermos flask

If you are a person who likes to travel, then you may already have this secret weapon. Paper cups and plastic cups are not good for us or the environment. It is important to have a thermos wherever you go to keep your hot coffee and iced coffee warm.

5. Reusable straws

Whether you like iced coffee or hate coffee stains on your teeth, reusable straws are a must.

Extra tip: If you plan to drink hot drinks, please choose stainless steel or glass straws instead of bamboo straws. If you like to drink coffee with additives, buy a wider straw. Do you have a habit of biting straws? Do not use glass straws, as it may damage your teeth.

6. Good instant coffee

It is rare to find good instant coffee. Therefore, finding the best instant coffee for you is your life mission. Personally, I am not a fan of instant coffee, and I sometimes treat drip coffee as instant coffee: but it will be much better than regular instant coffee, and it is convenient to carry out. All you need is hot water and a cup. What's next? Brew it like tea.

7. Coffee tasting journal

Okay, we know it's not a necessity. Still, we want it. Magazines with coupons will be better, right? But actually, we can record our coffee journey with any device.

With the above auxiliary items, the travel experience of coffee lovers will indeed become better, isn't it?
